A huge place to shop ...
Everything I bought there was good ( cheese, ham & bread )
Had lunch there and my pasta ( todays pasta ) was excellent, others had pizza but the topping was very good but the dough was very hard ...so had a hard time cutting it , So don't know that's their style but little bit disappointed on the dough/crust -

Located just a bit outside of Rome, this place is huge. Story goes that the building was built to be a downtown check-in facility for the airport...but that plan never came to fruition. The building also houses an apartment ik
I believe it is their biggest location with three floors of food and a restaurant on each floor. There's a fourth floor that houses offices on one side and a big kitchen designed for cooking class on the other.
We went to eat on the restaurant located on the first floor. Featuring crafted beers, the restaurant also had an assortment of plates like: burgers and pasta.
As an appetizer, we got a cheese and meats platter. The platter was huge! It featured several kinds of cheeses and three different kinds of prosciutto.
For main course, we got the burger that came with a fried egg and the caccio e pepe pasta.
The food was good but after the appetizer platter of cheeses and ham, we should've stopped. We were both stuffed halfway thru the main course.
Service was ok, sort of being back in miami but they spoke Italian instead of English. -

What is there to say? We know this concept works
And the location in Rome in no exception. Went very late in October and there were no crowds. What a great place to shop browse eat drink and lounge. It's clean fresh and organized and a great re do of what was probably an empty creepy industrial building. Love the concept and yes we have one in NYC and lots of other places but the Rome location is so random. -

Eataly. Eataly. Eataly. This gem was on my list of places I had to visit during my trip to Italy. The location was a bit sketchy and that played out exactly as I'd expect. Our rental car was broken into and there was nothing we could do according to the police in the area. But we didn't see that happening. So after spending an hour or so in Eataly we came out devastated with our purchases to an empty vehicle.
While inside of Eataly and before finding out the rental car had been broken into we were completely amazed by every corner of the market. Grocery style setup with several restaurants on the second floor to satisfy whatever you were feeling for.
We purchased many items. Dry foods, cured meats, cheese, wines, books, you name it. We decided to pick up some souvenirs both to keep forever and some to fill our stomachs and keep a little piece of Italy in our minds.
Besides the location, Eataly is definitely a awesome place to grab some groceries or sit down for a nice lunch. -

Wow, this place was amazing. It was really big and had good everything. I liked it, because I got to go to a few different restaurants while I was inside. It was host to a lot of different restaurants and a grocery store. I tried to Fritto place, and the mixed fried fish basket was amazing. It had little squid, and sardines, and shrimp and it was delicious. Then I had a pizza and that was pretty tasty. Later, I even had gelato, which was a little slice of heaven. Thank you for this awesome eating hall. I loved it there.
